Danish beer in the US

Hello all,

I am having a Danish friend spend a few weeks with me and would like to treat her to Danish beer, but all I can find is "Bear Beer" (a Harboe export) at Trader Joe's markets. And that's starting to disappear too! Anyone know if Carlsberg or Tuborg are available? Perhaps thru the internet? Tak!!! :)

You can buy Carlsberg at the stores here in NJ/NY. I thought it was all over the US

Hi:

Trader Joe's West Coast has again Harboe's Bear Beer in 50 cl cans and they retail
at only $3.99 for one six pack = 3 liters.

If you are not able to find them at your nearest Trader Joe's,, just ask the store
Captain to order them from warehouse since it is up to each store to decide which
beers to sell due to limited shelf's space.

Soon you will also be able to buy Bear Beer in 33 cl bottels at a retailer called
Grocery Outlet and they have stores in 7 different US West Coast States.

Harboe's Bear Beer is brewed in Denmark as the only Real Danish Beer sold in American..

I don't know where you're located, but try any larger liquor store in your neighborhood..you might get lucky and find some Elephant Beer (it's a strong Carlsberg). Don't get too excited, it is brewed in Canada and hence any Danish beer drinker will taste the difference.
